![]() ![]() Who is Sheila Noon ?Sheila was born in Bangor, Co. Down. Northern Ireland and came to Australia as a young person, married an Australian and settled in Melbourne.Sheila's had a passion for the arts and it started with her co-owning a fashion label where she worked for over 20 years. "I had always wanted to paint, especially portraits, but never had time."
So Sheila made the move to Tasmania 12 years ago.
"It is a very beautiful place to live. We live by the Huon River at Cygnet, south of Hobart. At last I have time to paint.
I love painting people and paint in oils, pastels and watercolour."
Sheila is a Founding Member of the Tasmanian Pastel Society, and is still passionate about painting, and since starting her company Noon Portraits in Tasmania she has sold many paintings both here and on the mainland.
